Description: 1960 MGA in very good shape. Was restored by the previous owner and is a good driver. New parts in the last few years to mention a few include seat covers and carpeting, floor boards, front and rear bumpers, grille, electrical wiring, convertible top, side curtains, wipers, and brake system. In the last year I have replaced the distributor with a NOS, four new tires, two new wire wheels that match the originals perfectly, a spin on oil filter adapter, air filters, fuel filter, and the battery. The car was painted the current yellow color years ago and at that time they also painted over the fender welting. It was always my intention to repaint the car and replace the welting but as an interim measure I painted the welting back to a more normal looking contrasting color. I have found zero rust in the car since I have had it. It is enjoyable to drive, has a good exhaust tone, never overheats, steers well, and brakes well. Known issues: The studs from the exhaust manifold to the header pipe need to be replaced causing the header pipe flange to rattle a bit. I have the studs but haven’t had the time to do the work. It intermittently leaks some oil on my garage floor but it is an MG. Other notes: I believe the engine block to be original to the car but the head has “1800” stamped on it so that is probably the typical MGB replacement. I have the British Motor Heritage build certificate (as pictured) for the car.
