You are bidding on a 1986 Honda VFR750F Intercepter. Miles unknown. My have had the speedo replaced ?? ( Bike is as good as new - solid engine - super fast ) This 1986 model is a factory engine race bike ( 105hp. ) - modified for street use - this engine was made only for this model year. Compression check shows great condition. NOTE: 700cc & 800cc models built this year had only 75hp engines. RARE - DON'T MISS THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF HONDA HISTORY ! Major upgrades include: Alloy beam frame, 2.5x16" front wheel,3.5x18 rear wheel, full fairing, Seat extends or wraps around tank slightly, Single rear shock w/2 sided Alloy swingarm,180x crank, lighter pistons, connecting rods and valve train, gear driver cams. Goldish Cast engine covers look trick. USA Colors were White w/ red & blue stripes. This model dropped 49 pounds off the ( VF700/750F ) weight at 215.9kg ( 476 lbs. ) Honda claimed 105 BHP. This bike had a fork brace and progressive springs installed before it left the factory showroom. Forks have TRAC mechanical anti-dive mechanisms. Brakes now are Gold Painted, instead of Black. A 4k(USD) engine race kit was available from HRC which included a Titanium exhaust system. This exhaust has been replaced with a Yoshimura 4-2-1 exhaust. This bike was the bike to beat for 10 years in AMA Racing. What you get with this RARE race bike: This bike has the rare Red/White/Blue paint color, and the factory high performance engine. Original Honda double seat w/ Honda solo seat race cowling. Factory electric/lighted cooling swith installed on dash panel. Bike has never been dropped, fairing is all original with no chips. Tank has no dings, includes a tank leather bra. HRC racing front fork brace and upgraded progressive springs. Recent full service, no leaks and compression checks good. New brakes, tires and gel battery. This bike runs and sounds like new and needs nothing but a rider, Great V4 engine, fast bike and fun to ride.
