Vehicle Detail

THIS IS MY FIRST time trying to add video to an ebay listing. If my video does not show up here, please just enter my youtube name in the search box " suicycleschopshop" and you will see my vids. It has a walk around, and running. I do not want to sell this but Im moving, and need the cash. It was going to be my summertime street cruiser (but the wife said we need new furniture more then my mid-life crisis toys). This Connie has 114k miles. She has been repainted, but only once (original gold underneath). The paint job is not show. Its a "15 footer". It used to have a vinyl top, and they did a poor prep job where the lines met as you can see it is peeling and starting to rust there. There is also some rust at the rear quarter. Other then that, its straight. I had two of my bros who are profesional bodymen look at this car, and they both told me the prepwork on this car would be pretty much "basic 101".But I love it just the way she is. I ran a magnet around the car, and she seemed rock solid. There is also no rot in the floors, trunk, etc etc. Unbelievably clean for a 1969 car. I wanted to just fix the spots, and toss on some grey primer over the fixed spots to give her that "its a project" look that has every guy imagining what they would do to it . It has fairly new tires and rims. Interior has ripped front seats, and a worn drivers armrest. Other then that it is very very nice. The carpet is pretty amazing, still plush and deep in color. They must have had big floor mats in it before I got it. It has a rock solid exhaust with cherry bombs and sounds great. Not too loud, not quiet, and if you hit the gas she really growls. Drivers window goes down, others do not. I dont think the switch is hooked up. When I got the car, they had a CD player in it but was non working. I removed it, and the stock stereo is there but not working/hooked up. Everything as far as I can tell in the interior works including the rear vents, except the temp guage isnt hooked up, and the clock isnt functioning. The battery is due to be replaced so if your going to drive it home, bring a new one. Although with a 460 v8, C6 low geared auto trans, and the price of gas, I would seriously consider trailering it home unless you live fairly close by. I have not put on more then 200 miles since I bought this car and hold no guarantees that your going to drive it "cross country" (its freezing winter here in Wisconsin, I havent got to have too much time with her yet or drive it too far unless the roads were completely clear which is rare). It has a newer Holly carb with a manual choke cable running into the interior. They did a bad job of running the line, and it "kinks" so you can easily flood it unless you make sure the choke is off. The line can easily be re-ran, but with -20 temps here, I havent been able to do all the things Id like to do. The headlights work , brake lights, signals, and the brakes are newer. There was also some other things gone through that I wish I had wrote down when I bought it like new fuel filter, water pump, and I was informed the AC would work if you put the belt back on but Ive never tried it. If you have any questions, please send me your phone number and Ill gladly discuss the car over the phone as I can describe this car WAY better on the phone.I dont need to add the "turns heads" line, but it really does get all sorts of crazy attention. I cant even count how many rides Ive had to give on request ! Buyer responsible for pickup arrangements and any costs. Its a 43 year old car so obviously, no guarantees, warranties implied (and I have to say this but...) Ive described it the best I can but If Ive missed any details then I apologize and thats how it is. Car is sold as is, where is. $100 non refundable deposit required within 48 hours . Must be paid for within 5 days of auctions close. I am moving, so I need it picked up within 2 weeks of auctions end. Thanks for looking and have a great day !!
