This is a 1981 Honda CB900C also known as the CB900 Custom. I bought this one a couple years ago when it had 33,xxx miles. I cleaned the carbs, adjusted the cam chains, and replaced the Stator, Voltage Regulator, and Battery. It now has almost 47,500 miles on it and has been a reliable ride for 2 summers. The 900 Customs were only made for 3 years (80,81,82) so they are hard to find and might be a collector piece before long This one is a nice runner just the way it is, or it could be the start of a classic rebuild. Its 32 years old so it does have bad paint, and some small oil leaks around the valve cover and shift shaft, and one the the front forks is greasy. The backrest/luggage rack needs to be recovered or taken off. I have a shiney chrome rear grab bar for it. The stock rear air shocks are long gone and it has a set of late 80's Honda Nighthawk shocks on it. The exhaust is a combo of a Mac 4 into 1 header with a stock cbr600f4 muffler. The seat is great and the tires are good. Its a great daily driver but I bought a newer ride and dont need this one anymore. 900cc DOHC 16 valve aircooled motor, 5 speed transmission with a 2 speed auxilary trans giving it 10 gears, and a shaft final drive.
