1969 R code 428 Cobra jet Mach1 9F02R159330, original Black Jade car (dark green metallic). If your looking for great Cobra jet project car then you have found it. History: I bought this car locally in Va , so this car spent it's whole life in VA near Washington DC. The previous owner had this car for many years (over 20 years) stored inside. He ended up selling it to me a few years ago when his health started failing. I have several Cobra Jet cars and have a few projects ahead of this one so here is your chance to buy the real McCoy. Body; this car is pretty complete and in decent condition. The front inner structure is in nice condition but the battery tray apron will need replacing. It will need a right torque box , left torque box repair and some floor pan work. Both quarters will require repair work (I intended to replace them). The rear rails are crusty and need some work. The interior is pretty complete , I have the passenger side clock (not shown in the picture).All in all I thought the body was very workable. Drive train; this car has it's original 31 spline rear. The car had a 390 in it when I bought it . The trans in the car currently is a normal FE C6 . I can offer the bidder two options ; If you want the car without the correct motor or trans I can sell it for $14,000 or if you want it with a correct long block (not date correct) and the correct Cobra Jet C6 transmission I will sell it for $18,500 which is the buy it now price.
