The Tennessee Two & Johnny struggled in the early beginning. But when Johnny & the band made a little money he bought cars for his boys as they were all car enthusiasts & from a mechanic/auto repair background. Johnny bought Marshall Grant a 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe 2 Door Coupe. This is the car we discuss today. It is reported that Marshall owned, maintained & drove the Chevy for several years. The gentleman I bought the car from is directly connected to the Nashville music industry & he relayed the car’s history to me. For years he has driven the equipment trucks & tour busses for the Nashville entertainers. He heard of the car through several sources & had to own it. I have no way to confirm the car’s background.
