This no reserve auction is for my used 2002 Ford F-150. The truck has 4 wheel drive and the FX4 offroad package. I bought this truck several years ago and have put about a little over 60,000 miles on it since then. It's been a very reliable truck but I've bought a newer truck so it's time to sell this one. I wasn't impressed with the offer I received from the dealership for trade so I'm putting it up for auction here. The starting bid price is based on the dealership offer. The truck has four newer Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour tires on it. I paid over $1000 for them and they only have about 600 miles on them. This is a used truck so I want to also tell you of the other things I'm aware of with the truck. As stated above the cruise control doesn't work. The trucks has several dings and scratches from normal use. I've tried to take pictures of all of the flaws...all of them are very difficult to see if you are not close to the truck. The drivers seat has a hole about the size of screwdriver head - that would be from me sitting in the seat with a screwdriver in my pocket. The front brake pads will need to be replaced soon. And finally, there is an exhaust leak on the passenger side. From what I understand the exhaust leak is very common with these trucks. My family and I drove the truck 600 miles round trip at Christmas time with no problems at all - so I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. The truck gets about 14 MPG in town and around 16 on the highway using 10% ethanol blend gasoline. The truck is located in Bettendorf, IA - just off Interstate 80 a couple of miles from the Mississippi river. If you have any questions or would like to come and look at the truck please let me know. I have a clear title in hand and will sign it over to you when you pick the truck up - if you're paying with cash or a certified check from a local bank (located in the Quad Cities). Any other form of payment must clear before I will release the title. Buyer must pick up the truck - NO SHIPPING. This used truck is being sold AS-IS with no warranty. I believe the truck is in good condition but it's used - so it's AS-IS. I have sold several vehicles on eBay in the past - all have resulted in positive feedback being received.
