Vehicle Detail

1973 International Harvester 1110 series stepside pickup. 392 v8 4wd (not positive about cubic inches as decal is worn but pretty certain, going on memory). Truck has spent entire life in Arizona, originally as farm truck in Prescott and eventually making it down to Phoenix approx 10 years ago with intentions to restore, however have no facilities or time to pursue any further. I was told when purchased, and believe the approx. 80k mi and A title to be accurate, after seeing internals of engine with no wear/ridge. Engine has been completely dismantled, honed, bearings and all gaskets replaced along with rear end rebuild, seals and bushings and new tailpipes. The truck is super solid with a great patina (albeit little dirty in pics, the streaks are just dirt mostly), a smaller than dime size hole behind each door (as shown in pic) along with the hinged area of rear tailgate (also shown). Aside from those two areas the truck is rust free with solid floorboards, rockers, clean underbody and frame and very solid rustfree bed (aside from surface rust of course due to bare paint) and fenders are solid with no bubbling at all, bench seat needs new cover. It has been sitting for approx a year since engine redone and did not want to idle perfectly (when we drove it to storage area) off choke but may just be bad gas, timing off or gummed carburetor? This is a very clean Arizona truck, perfect for that Ratrod look given the patina'd paint, just lightly sand and spray some clear over. Vehicle can be seen in person or third party prior to bidding. I am selling this as-is of course but have tried disclosing everything I am aware of and will be happy to answer any and all questions. Buyer responsible for any and all shipping costs. Thanks for looking and good luck if choosing to bid.On Feb-08-13 at 14:14:30 PST, seller added the following information: So I was just asked, and thought I should add that I cannot see condition of floorboards from inside cab as a rubber floorboard from factory is secured down but from beneath the truck it looks to be in good shape from what I could see by crawling under and looking and pics that I took show. There may be a small spot on passenger side right where floorboard meets the firewall but hard to see without flashlight and its right where frame is. On Feb-08-13 at 14:27:51 PST, seller added the following information: And another thing I'll add cause I keep being asked is the tires are worn, the rears being better than the fronts and no I would not trust driving on the fronts for any distance or at highway speeds.. Oh and yes it did have air but compressors missing, lines and mounting bracket/plate are still there.
