This Transit has been in use for two years as an electrical and plumbing work vehicle. It comes with a pre-installed full roof rack which can hold up to 500 lbs. Also a heavy duty safety cage is installed between driver and cargo area. A shelving system is installed that can be reached from inside the cargo area and from the sliding passenger side door. The ease of working out of this vehicle is superior, workflow is dramatically improved if you work in a trade with a lot of small parts and some long or oversized ones on the roof. The roller on the roof rack makes putting on and taking off a 32' ladder a breeze. Everything works well. There is normal wear and tear, a missing right hand side arm on driver's chair arm, some interior blemishes including the fabric of the seat not being able to be cleaned back to factory original clean, that sort of thing. But given use for 2 years as a work vehicle, it's in very good shape. This Transit has been in one accident. It slid back down an incline and barely kissed a telephone pole on the driver side. Insurance paid for all body work and it was well done by a local auto body shop. Everything is in good order and exterior is blemish free, see pics. The Transit is rated to carry up to 1600 lbs. Totally enclosed and secure. And we've routinely seen over 30 MPG. If you compare to a pickup truck, there is no comparison. If you compare to a much larger Sprinter, you can buy 2 of these. The Transit is a great work vehicle, I'd buy another any day!
