NOTE:This is NOT a storm, flood, or hurricane vehicle!!! As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Audi TT has sustained light front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs great. All airbags are good!!! No signs of oil leak and engine compartment is clean. All glass OK. No suspension damage. Looks like most of the impact was absorbed by the bumper support. Front rails look straight. Radiator/Condensor/Fans might be salvageable. The car does start, go into gear and we were able to drive it within our lot but looks like the tranny has gone into limp/safe mode where only the car moves forward at certain gear and there is no reverse (possible TCM or other electrical issue). This "safe mode" is also indicated by the dash gear indicators all being highlighted red on the dash cluster (see close up photo of the cluster/speedometer). It would need further diagnosis to see what the cause of the problem might be but again the car does move forward in safe mode but does not recognize reverse. Its probably an electrical or some sort of a reset needed instead of being a real problem with the physical transmission. No major frame work needed and mostly needs replacement of front damaged components with slight adjustments. Interior is in tact and has nice alloys with good looking tires. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, all airbags in tact!!! and the car lot runs/drives. Many used parts can be found for this car at online junk yard database car-part or here on ebay. car-part is a source of used oem parts from many junk yards across the country. NOTE: This is NOT a storm, flood, or hurricane vehicle!!! It has NOT been affected by the recent hurricane. Had to put this note due to many questions from ebayers about our cars being damaged or not due to the recent storm in our area.
As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Audi TT has sustained light front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs great. All airbags are good!!! No signs of oil leak and engine compartment is clean. All glass OK. No suspension damage. Looks like most of the impact was absorbed by the bumper support. Front rails look straight. Radiator/Condensor/Fans might be salvageable. The car does start and we were able to drive it within our lot but looks like the tranny has gone into limp safe mode where only the car moves forward at certain gear and no reverse (possible TCM or other electrical issue). This is alo indicated by all gears are highlighted red on the dash cluster (see close up photo of the cluster/speedo). It would need furhter diagnosis to see what the cause of the problem might be but again the car does move forward in safe mode. No major frame work needed and mostly needs replacement of front damaged components with slight adjustments. Interior is in tact and has nice alloys with good looking tires. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, all airbags in tact!!! and the car lot runs/drives. Many used parts can be found for this car at online junk yard database car-part or here on ebay. car-part is a source of used oem parts from many junk yards across the country. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
