Vehicle Detail
this is a 1966 ford mustang A code convertible with a factory 4-speed.it is a project car that needs complete restoration.it still has the original buck tag on the drivers side inner fender.it identifies it as a 130 special order car.it has the A code 225 hp 289 4v with the 4-speed and stereo actually written out on the tag.car is original white.it is coded for two tone blue interior.the seats are all missing,i believe it was a pony interior but i don't know how to tell that.the center console is still in the car,but in rough shape.it also still has the old wood grain steering wheel in it.the dash is missing and glove box.convertible top bows are there, front fender extentions are in the trunk.rear extentions and tailights are missing.other than the visable surface rust the body is in very good condition with very little rust or dents.it does have rust in the inner rockers and along outer edge of the floor at the rockers.outside rockers look fine.i saw a little rust in the trunk by the rear body panel but not extensive.the motor is in the car but someone removed the intake and heads and they are missing.and the pan is loose leading me to beleive it had a bottom end motor problem.there is surface rust in cylinders so it would need bored out.the radiator, power steering and brake system are all intact.the 4 speed is still in the car.someone put hood pins in at one time, but i have a extra hood i'll throw in with the sale.windshield is gone, door windows are there. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS AND COSTS.vehicle is for sale locally and i reserve the right to end auction early if it sells.this is a rare optioned car and is well worth the time and expense to restore it.i have oregon lein papers and oregon bill of sale to buyer.cleaning out the trunk i found the grille .along with front bumper brackets, rear side panels and one piece door panels.more evidence of a pony interior.
