How long do you plan to hold out for the "right one"? I never could understand why people opt to spend their hard earned money on a used up Hyundai or a Cavalier on it's last leg. This Volvo was about $28k+ new yet you can buy it for a fraction of that! Loaded. SAFEST cars in the world. Reliable. Fun to drive. Easy to fix. No brainer. Here's another gorgeous maintained and ready to go Volvo offered to you from justlikenew2u!. Like ALL of my vehicles, I've driven this one for a few hundred miles to ensure it's reliability. Absolute pleasure to drive! It's "technically" a base model with no turbo, but the insurance bill will be missing a few dollars in the "amount due" box. Yes, I have experienced 25+ MPG in these cars easily. Hate to start off on a negative but as you can see, the front nose has seen better days. A few dings and chips in the hood, and new headlight lenses tell me a bad parking lot parking job. Nothing major to report tho, purely cosmetic. Touchups are decent altho you can see the paint doesn't match. Can't deduct for trying, tho? Even tho the bumper covers are the biggest eyesores, the rest of the body looks great! Minor light scratches that can easily be buffed out if desired. Paint shines very well. Only a handfull of dings and no major dents or signs of body repairs. Absolutely no rust to be found. Front Fuzion tires are very nice and match the rears. The rears will need replacing soon, tho, since I rotated them and they were unevenly worn from the bad front strut mount and broken stabilizer bar, BOTH of which have been replaced. These are common wear items on the 850/70 lineup. The car drives perfectly straight with no unusual pulling or wandering now. Rear bumper cover has no touchups, yet no cracks, holes or cuts. Easily paintable if desired. Super shiny paint throughout! Onto the interior...easy 8.5 out of 10. Tiny bit of steering wheel wear. Even tho I can see a few signs of a former smoker (a couple burn spots on carpet), I hate smoke and I can't smell any remnants of it. The leather looks great. The heated seats are awesome. ALL the power items work as they should, sunroof, power driver's seat, heated seats, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, HOT HEAT, power windows, heated power mirrors, Radio, wipers, cruise, dual climate control, etc. Leather looks great, no holes, cuts or tears. Even the driver's bolster is barely worn. NOTE: the nearly perfect door panels!! Usually they start to seperate...but not these! Why do I show 2 versions of the dash? Because other sellers don't. All the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with NONE on during run. Only once did the "check engine" light appear. It was a typical "emissions evap leak small". Mostl likely from me not tightening the gas cap enough. Cleared it and it's gone. Also note, the ABS/TRAC light WAS on. Other sellers will tell you this is a "random light" and pawn it off on you leading to an $800 replacement from Volvo. But yours truly fixed the failure prone ABS unit. These units were bad from the factory, not from Volvo. No worries for you! LOVE those nice door panels!! I see sooooo many with the vinyl separating. Below you can see the complete factory issued floormats. Unseen is the complete factory spare setup. Only a base manual and one key are included. This is NOT the transponder version. Those started in '99. FINALLY!! The favorite part of my ads....the engine compartment!! After all, this is the reason you will get many many more miles and years from your purchase! Super clean. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. Not leaving any spots on my shop floor overnight. NEW upper polyeurethane motor mount. NEW Contitech timing belt installed from yours truly. RECENT battery, brakes, mass air meter, air filter, oil and filter change, spark plugs...ALL inspected and ready for you to drive! Engine starts up right away and runs smooth. No noises. Transmission shifts as it should in all gears. Drivetrain and suspension is noise free. No rattles, squeaks or popping. Car rides smooth/vibration free down the highway at any speeds.
