Starting with a rust free straight body with body lines and even gaps this car was taken down to bare metal. Metal finished (see pics) Etched primed ,uretaned primed blocked sanded super straight then painted with german Speis Hecker base coat clear coat.Baikal Blue. My favorite. Ultra fine sanded and buffed to a mirror finish.. No Dents or scratches. This was done in 2012 . Mechanical work ws done in 2011. All new fasteners most new mouldings. All new seals hood, trunk , doors , front and rear glass all quarter windows seals , Sunroof seals.Sunroof drains moved to not drain into rockers . All new front oem bumper and center grill. Rear bumper all new oem and rubber strip except for center bar. Wheels fresh primed and painted and clearcoated with new alloy lug nuts and new tires. Suspension; new lower control arm and ball joints center track rod Excellent steering box ,rebuilt calipers new master cylinder all new brake hoses.Five speed trans quiet and smooth shifting.Rear differential silent! New center muffler and oem rear. Great quite power with that low growl. Engine; This is a factory exchange made in germany with stamped where ID normally would be (see pic) Runs excellent perfect compression no smoke or leaks does not consume oil period! Weber 32/36 good on mpg!! Always dependable! You will amazed at the agility . Interior; New headliner and board above . New carpet with extra padding . New rear shelf (never speakers holes) like new rear seat. Real Recaro front seats. Choice of excellent correct front seats with chrome sides if buyer prefers. Rare Racemark leather steering wheel (Italy) Guages and ODO work speedo accurate.Rebuilt heater box with new fan motor! ! 1976 style retractable seat belts. Working door brakes. Perfect no cracks dash!! Not repaired original perfect!! Trunk is super clean ,boards and vinyl ,new gas filler neck . Again no rust! Much of the zinc plated parts redone. New sunroof cables and sliding easy. Sony CD new hi lo lite swit. Window regulators cleaned and greased. New felt s in roll ups More stuff done but I missed some I am sure.De Clean title in hand current Calif reg.It comes with correct spare jack and lug wrench.Selling to make room for another classic. I am a purest and love these cars with all the trim. There is no other car with all these mouldings to leave off bumpers and mouldings or paint black the mouldings spoilers, flares is just not for me. .To put parts made in the orient ,is not for me.All parts on this car are made in Europe except for the tires and radio!! I always thought a classic car will be worth the most if it looks showroom. The bolt on parts on this car could be changed back easy This car could be easy made to show condtion.
