Up for auction is our 1986 Jeep Cherokee Chief 4X4 with a Pioneer AM/FM, CD strereo. Priced to sell! It has the 2.8 liter V6, A904 three speed automatic with locking torque converter and a class 1 hitch with a 2" ball. There is just under 167K miles on it and it runs like a top. The transmission was rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago & has a RV/Heavy Duty shift kit. The 4 wheel drive works great & the tires are in good condition. This vehicle has been stored for a length of time as we have too many vehicles & need to sell it before moving. This Jeep will not pass CA emissions (due to mods, not mechanical failure) so is best going to someone in one of the other 49 states unless you have plans on making it a full time rock crawler. It gets 18MPG on the high way & a little less running around town. The title and registration are current in MT and the vehicle is located in Redding, CA. The only known vice with this Jeep is, the tachometer reads higher than actual motor RPM. Recent new parts include starter, battery, and battery cables. I require a $200 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction close which is refundable (via Paypal) if you get here and decide that this is not what it was said to be.
