Vehicle Detail

Hello.I have listed this car for the third time I honestly cant believe it has not sold so I have lowered it to my rock bottom number I hope someone can see its value like i do. IT IS A GREAT SOLID CAR NOT A JUNKER!Thanks for Looking. This car is a very decent uncut original car.It has a Arizona Pink slip in the name of the man I got it from. All the information Im listing about the motor, transmission and rear end was gotten from the man I bought it from. No claims or warranties are being made about the car. I will do my very best to tell you exactly what he told me and what I have seen since I bought it. I bought to put on the street as a fast type street rod,but unable to spend any money on the car at this time and I also have another project so I decided to sell this instead of my convertible. The body has mostly surface rust here and there with small to medium dings and dents here and there but nothing bad. The only rust I see that might actually need some real attention is the right rear lower back glass pinch well below the moulding some bubbles but not many and small in size. The floors look very good and the body has not been cut up. The right rear quarter panel has been replaced years ago and the plastic filler that covers the joint is cracking. The bottom underside of both rocker panels have what looks like floor jack or tow truck damage It is not visible unless you are on your knees and not that bad but still is there. All the glass is good. The front bumper and fillers along with the grills and lower valance are very decent. The radiator is intact and uncut. The hood and right and left front fenders are fiberglass and bolted and pinned on. It would be easy to replace with original type as nothing has been cut there no inner fender aprons. It has original type crossflow radiator with aftermarket flex fan. All original electrical is gone.It has race type wire loom for minimum accessories only with fuse panel. It has a tach and three gage cluster only most of the stock dash and instrument cluster appear to be decent and intact and has aftermarket steering wheel. It has one race bucket seat with belt harness and a very nice 6 point roll bar setup the floors are great. No original interior except the headliner which is bad. All the right door window mechanism is intact but the left door inner panel (metal part) has been removed and the door glass has been locked into the up position.Rear bumper is nice as are the rear tail lamps. The trunk lid is held on with hood type pins and the inner metal liner to the trunk lid has been cut out. Rear floors are good. Dual battery setup and master cut off switch are intact.Right and left rear side marker lamps are gone. It has manuel steering and appears has race shocks all around with new front coil springs. The brakes are all drum type. The wheels are the old style Centerline type with 15x5 up front and the rears look to be 15x8 it needs fresh tires. Drive shaft in place and appears all good with a drive shaft safety loop bolt in style. I checked the block numbers and it is a 69 396 with four bolt mains. Possibly a steel crank. The heads are passenger car type from mid seventies to early eighties 454 open chamber oval port type. Intake manifold is new aftermarket dual plane with rebuilt Holley 3310. I was told the cam was a Norris solid lifter but not sure of lift or duration. Appears to have after market double valve springs. I was also told it had some type of pop up pistons. It has little run time but has been sitting years. Small signs of moisture but oil looks good. Has a dual point distributor and Acell coil. The headers are super competition Hooker and there are two small bolt on type collector mufflers in the trunk. The transmission is also low time I was told with a manuel shift valve body. The converter size and sthal is unknown. Has a B&m shifter that is intact and mounted on a small custom made metal tunnel cover. Rear end again low time rebuilt 12 bolt chevy with 488 gears on a posi -traction. It has stock rear axles with extra long studs. Has a nice set of older J bolt slapper bars on the rear leaf springs. The guy I bought it from has had it since mid eighties and took it to the track two or three times. Most of the time it just sat covered up.He provided me all above information and again I am making no warranties or claims. You should CONSIDER the motor, transmission and rear end POSSIBLY MIGHT need rebuilding or some major to minor repairs.. I will say that the Transmission oil also look good. Please email me for any questions. I will do my best to answer them. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to stop auction if needed. I have sold four cars in the last four years on Ebay and all deals went well.I will assist in loading. I will take a cashiers check preferably from my bank which is Bank Of America. All checks will have to clear (about 10 working days) before car can leave. Cash in person at the bank is also good. Thanks For Your Time.
