Up for sale in this NO RESERVE AUCTION is my super clean 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 Notch-Back Mustang. This notch-back is in fantastic condition overall and runs and drives like a champ! The car has been restored over the past several years as you can clearly see by the photos and the motor has approximately 5K miles since the rebuild. The Mustang currently reads just over 84K miles, but is driven weekly so this mileage can/will continue to increase. The car has been completely repainted in a bright fire red with metallic silver stripes and although there a few minor stone chips, the paint is bright and shiny as you can clearly sees in the photos with two stage base coat clear coat finish. The grey and black interior is clean and free of tears, stains, rips or smells. The cloth seats are power and new black carpet has been installed as has a new headliner. The car has factory power steering and power brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise and factory A/C although the compressor lines are currently removed from the. All other components of the A/C system are there (compressor, accumulator, evaporator, and condenser) so getting the A/C functioning again is as simple as getting a couple of compressor lines (easily found here on eBay) and have the system recharged. The motor is a fresh short block 302cid topped with iron GT-40 heads, Trick-Flow “Stage 1” roller camshaft, high volume electric fuel pump, cold air intake and Flowmaster exhaust. The car retains its factory fuel injection set-up which operates as it should. A new battery has been installed as has new brakes on all four corners, electric cooling fan, four new shocks, four new tires, etc, etc. The car starts easily and although has a slight “lope” from the cam, it is very mild and has great street manors. The motor is backed by the 3 speed with overdrive AOD transmission that shifts through all the gears as it should backed by 3:08 rear-end gears (great on the highway). This car is adult owned and adult driven (I'm in my 40's) and has never seen a race track. This Mustang was built to be driven as a daily driver, but was only really used as a weekend driver. It's truly a super clean notch back Mustang that runs and drives great. No huge cowl hood, no aftermarket body kits or wings, she idles quietly and relatively smooth. All the exterior lights, wipers, turn signals work, although the aftermarket stereo system is not currently hooked up. Please note the windshield currently has a crack in it and will need to be replaced at some point. I have called my local auto glass repair-man to get a replacement quote ($107.00 installed).
