The Fuqi was produced in china as their answer to the Land Rover. It is a very capable 4X4 for either off road or street driving. The car has a 2.2 liter, 4 cylinder engine and low gearing for climbing, so the top speed in around 55mph. The car does have high and low range transfer case. There are only a few of these that ever made it to the US. This vehicle is a 1999 but had to be listed as a 1980 because of E-Bay vin# perameters, the vin# is fuqi492q9x62367s3. The vehicle was imported by a Phoenix auto dealer after a trip to China. He imported the car new and only drove it sparingly on his dealer’s license. In 2004, he donated it to his favorite charity, which is when I bought the car. I purchased the car with 600km on the engine and drove it to work occasionally for the next year. I have a large collection, which is always changing, so the vehicle eventually got moved to the back burner, I recently decided to down size my collection so the cars used the least are moving on to new homes. Due to the time sitting, the top and interior needed to be redone. Both are brand new and the original top and side windows also go with the sale. The car started right up and drove well after putting new gas in. The car does show signs of sitting for too long and needs some minor brake work, but is essentially a new car. It only has 918km on it (570 miles). It is a very interesting and fun vehicle. Please note: The car was never DOT approved for street use. The car can be driven under a dealer license or off road. It would make an excellent ranch vehicle that is super rare and unique. I have been told that a level 2 inspection could be done to get a title in some states.
