You are bidding on a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car. This is one of 2500 cars built. This is an Arizona car and is 100% rust Free. The body has very, very minor dings on it. The previous owner did not like the pace car decals so he removed them. (Big Mistake) This car had the GM crossfire fuel injection originally, ( I have all of the original parts and will include them with the car) We had Standard Machine in Glendale AZ rebuild the stock heads with larger valves. They also ported and polished the heads and port matched the Edelbrock Aluminum intake. We installed a mild Comp Cams camshaft, roller rockers, new lifters, pushrods and a double roller timing chain. We had new exhaust installed from the cat back with a Flowmaster Muffler. The battery is a new Red Top Optima. The Tires are new (Less than 300 Miles) B F Goodrich Radial TA's. We have also installed a new steering gear box. The interior features Recaro Leather Bucket seats. The front seats are cracking and seat covers were installed.
