Up for sale is a 1940 Studebaker Champion 2 Door Sedan , This is an all original car that would make a great Hot rod, or Classic car restoration. This car runs, and drives. The Engine is the original engine that came with the car, a 2.7L Flathead 6. Replaced the battery 2 months ago, and it fires right up. All new exaust system. The Transmission is a 3 speed, on the tree. (smooth shifting) The Body is in great shape considering the age of the vehicle with no rust. It has the original paint, with no major dents, just the regular paint chips and scratches that accumilated over the years. The Interior, also original with the exception of the seat ,and headliner, they look to have been replaced in the recent years. (no tears, rips or holes) All the gauges along with the dash lights, and interior lights work. the heater blows hot air, and the 1 speaker AM radio still tunes in. All the glass is there. The Wheels I had professionaly sanded, and painted gloss black, and clear coat applied. they come with the moons that are on the wheels now, and the original stamped Studebaker hubcaps. The Tires are brand new with less than 100 miles on them. They are Coker Classic G78-15 4 ply polyester. they are tubeless with aq 3 1/4" White Wall. Also has the spare. Overall this is a rare find in great shape.
