1939 TWIN TURBO CHEVY TRUCK UP FOR AUCTION IS MY 1939 CHEVY TRUCK...."THE DEVILS RIDE" IF YOUR NOT INTO ATTENTION THAN THIS ISN'T THE TRUCK FOR YOU...THIS TRUCK HAS DONE VERY WELL AT EVERY EVENT THAT WE'VE TAKEN IT TO. HERE'S A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE TRUCK THAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO OWN: BUILT LAST YEAR OUT OF MY SHOP "THE FLAT BLACK SPEEDSHOP" CAB: 1941 Chevy cab with a 4" chop that was done back in the 60's. Front windshield has a cool custom V-Butt glass thats in the original frame, and the rear window retains its full factory size. doors have all the regulators there but no glass.FRAME: 2X3 .120 wall doubleZ, 3" Z in the front and a 15" Z in the rear. Frame has outriggers on it for the roll bar to tie in FRONT SUSPENSION: 1955 Chevy Truck front axle that has ALL brand new SPEEDWAY Spring behind, radius arms,mounts and all hardware. also features 1940 Chevy front friction shocks. REAR SUSPENSION: 1955 Chevy Truck rearend with 4:10 gears, 1932 Ford Triangulated rear 4-Link, with new Art Morrison rear coils and shocks WHEELS: 1932 Chevy 18" x 4 wires with old school 120mm Metzlers. 15x10 rear steelies with Mickey Thompson ET Streets. INTERIOR: Very RAW custom steel floor and tunnel, New SPEEDWAY BOMBER seats, A beautiful 1940 Chevy truck dash with a working gauge cluster...Speedo,oil pressure and water temp all work..1940 Chevy truck headlight clock and a Pro stick shifter ELECTRICAL: 1928 Buick headlights with LED parking lights, 1959 caddy taillights, all new wiring harness, 120 amp 1-wire alternator and new battery STEERING: 1939 Chevy truck column, steering wheel and box BED: 1940 Chevy truck box with scripted lettering on tailgate. Box was shorted about a 1 foot.. GRILL: 1941 Chevy upper DRIVE-TRAIN: Mildly built 1985 SBC 350 mated to a TH400, stainless turbo headers into twin T3/T4 AR.63 Hybrids, 38mm wastegates that pop a 8 psi, a custom hat with 50mm BOV. into a custom 750 DP blow thu carb. 2 1/2 in exhaust RUNS GREAT...NOTHING LIKE A TURBO SPOOLING...Fuel system features a Holley blue pump into a Quickfuel boost ref. regulator. all new fuel lines filters and tank. This built is very similiar to a build that CarCaft Magazine did a few years ago... COOLING: YES .....THE RADIATOR IS OUT BACK. i've plumbed about 35' of 1" copper pipe into a 4 core rad. with a flex lite electric fan. truck runs 180-200 degrees all day long This truck has been a blast to drive..very street able, the truck weighs 2526 pounds and has 52% of the weight on the rear.. Im a state of Washington certified welder and i take pride in welding...no crap welding here...very raw and Nostalgic...
