Vehicle Detail
This '65 Bonneville convertible runs and drives nicely with plenty of power from its 389 V-8. the car has power steering and brakes. Brakes work well. 83,235 miles. The motor sounds very strong and the trans shifts well. The car starts right up. One finger power steering. The power top is in good shape and works good. The rear window is real glass. The hood, trunk, and doors open and shut well. Tires are roadworthy. Hubcaps are good. Everything on this Bonneville works except the original radio and the clock. There is an aftermarket stereo installed in the glove box and it works great and uses the original speaker. All of the guages work and are clear. The factory A/C works but is not ice cold, just cool. All of the lights are working: brake lights, headlights, turn signals etc. Wipers work and horn also. The interior is quite nice. The red interior is a beautiful contrast to the white exterior and convertible top boot which is in great shape. Even the real wood in the interior is in decent condition. Doorpanels are nice and good carpet. The seats sit well and are comfortable. The body is solid but does have a couple areas where the paint has bubbled some. Not really noticeable unless you are within 10 feet. The majority of the paint is good and shiney. The bumpers are very presentable and ver solid. The door gaps need adjusting. The underside of the car has some light surface rust on the forward 2/3 of the car. The back 1/3 (about from the rear axel and back) has scale, but is solid. The trunk has a 1/2" by 2" hole in the rear left corner. The trunk floor has surface rust. All of the glass is in good shape and all power windows work. This 1965 Bonneville convertible can be enjoyed right now. The ride is smooth and the acceleration is powerful. This elegant "boat" is a pleasure to drive around town, or motor down the highway in style. Feel free to ask any questions. In-person inspection is encouraged. Sold as-is.
