Original ad below: This 1967 Mayfair Maze Yellow Pontiac Firebird is an unbelievable find. 47,260 original miles from the original family. Purchased new in Sacramento California @ Warren-Vivaldi Pontiac (long gone) and never left town. Many early receipts are included and show regular oil changes at the Shell service station, just down the street (also long gone) on Fulton Ave. in Sacramento, from it's registered home address. Further substantiating the low miles is a receipt over 20 years old for the very Dunlop bias ply F78-14 tires still currently on the car. Garaged it's entire life, and driven very little in the past 20 years. 100 % original paint in way above average condition. NO rust. Wow. Runs and drives outstanding. Stunning original interior. No flaws other than very minimal wear conducive with sub 50K miles of use. Perfect glass. According to the widow who inherited it, she periodically started the car at least once a month, drove it around the block from time to time and always kept it registered. Receipts show around $3000 in tune up records in 2005....including of all things an A/C service and charge! Also receiving attention were brakes, cooling system, and exhaust. This car is a turn key original that can be driven today. The only unfortunate things to report are the obvious dent in the driver side rear corner and ignition area marks/damage. This happened when the car had been taken without permission by the widows granddaughter's boyfriend. In both cases the damage is very superficial and no attempt to repair or cover up has been made. Also, there is an area on top of the driver front fender that looks to have had something toxic spilled on it and has eaten away small portions of the paint (pictured in photobucket link) These small dime size spots have had touch up applied, just to protect from rust. That's it, for all of its 45 years! All records, original rear space saver with original GM fix-o-flat, jack, owners manual, antenna (not on car in pictures) and both flawless Black CA plates are included in this sale. You just don't see preservation like this very often anymore. All numbers match and nothing has been changed. This wonderful car still has it's original CA emissions smog pump hooked up and working. Gen specs: 326, 250hp V8. Two speed automatic. Console bucket seats option. PS, PB, AM radio and dealer installed working A/C, however heater core is disconnected. Fan blows perfectly in all 3 speeds, and I suspect the original heater core simply needs replaced and was likely disconnected to prevent leaking. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bid and buy with confidence.
