Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1930 Plymouth 3 Window coupe that I have been building for over 2 years, I have another project car and need to move on from this one. I am selling it at a big loss since I have well over $15,000 in parts and labor in this thing, but my loss is going to be someone's gain. The car has been chopped 4" and channeled another 4" over a custom built double z'd frame built by Riley Automotive ($1500). All the front and rear suspension components are brand new Pete and Jakes that cost me over $3000, with a 4" drilled drop axle, 34' ford spindles, splint wishbones, and all steering components. Rear end is ladder bar with transverse leaf. Both front and rear have brand new springs. Attached to those new spindles are a set of buick finned drums that were re-drilled to accept the ford hubs. Out back is a rear end from a 1999 chevy pickup with drum brakes. I am not certain what the gears are in the rear end, but know it works great, came out of running truck. Suspension work is done, ready to roll. Caster/camber/toe etc have all been professionally dialed in. Motor mounts are in and ready to go as well. In the pics you will see brand new wheel vintiques 16" smoothie wheels (16x4.5 up front and 16x8 out back) with 6.00x16 front and 7.50x16 firestone wide white wall tires mounted to them. These were all professionally installed/balanced, the wheels were professionally powdercoated as well. Everything is brand new and all in i'm around $2500 on all this with the labor. The roof of the car was custom fabricated and the visor has been widened to go out to the edge of the roofline (you can see this in the picture next to my Tempest). We have many hours into the roof and the interior has an extremely stout subframe that was custom built as well. All wood in the car has been replaced by box tubing for strength and safety, and then sheet metal floors and interior have been installed with trans and driveshaft tunnel. Body has been mounted to frame and is SOLID. The aluminum bomber seats are secured to floor with custom made mounts. Other components that are installed and functional are the following: New vega steering box, new ididit cut to length steering column, 65 impala steering wheel. Awesome aluminum bomber seats with drilled lightening holes, and bomber style seat belts. Not yet installed are headlights and a cessna airplane throttle quadrant (levers) that I was going to integrate to control the transmission and other electrical. My concept was to give the car a bomber feel, obviously you can do what you wish . Lastly the car comes with a 1969 327 motor with 3 rochester 2g carbs sitting on a brand new edelbrock intake. The motor has an upgraded cam and heads, and was just rebuilt for this project. It has 10.5/1 compression and will pump out at least 360hp according to the builder. Not yet installed, but going with the deal is a NEW gear drive, alternator, fuel/oil pumps, oil pan and timing cover. I also have the gasket set to finish buttoning the motor together. Going with the deal is a pro billet distributor, msd 6al ignition and blaster coils. As well as brand new bosch plugs and msd wires. I also have long tube headers that will work with this project and will dump right in front of the doors. These are brand new. Lastly I also have a TH350 trans and torque converter that goes with this (Driveshaft already in the car!!). I also have a Hot Rod Electrical panel BRAND new from Painless wiring. And a 15 gallon gas tank out back. You couldn't buy all the parts in this deal for the price I am listing it for, let alone the labor I have into this car. Essentially you need to buy a radiator and the brakes for the buick drums. There may be a couple small things left to buy for the car, but really all it needs is TIME!!!! Lastly the car is registered in California as non-operational vehicle and would need an inspection when finished, but this makes it a lot easier to register than a car with no reg/vin at all. The car does have a VIN assigned on my paperwork and I have the original ID tag and body tag for the car too!!! I will help to arrange shipping to you, even internationally. I have MANY MANY more pictures and video if you want more info just shoot me a message!!!
