This former Red Bull 1997 Suzuki X-90 4wd comes from my father's estate with only a little over 84,400 miles on it.Dad loved cars ,and had an eye of quirky and unique automobiles ,so when this came up for sale he bought it. It had been donated to a local charity by Red Bull and he purchased it 08/05/2003 with 80k miles on it ,according to the title ,so he was only the second owner.It has spent the last 9 1/2 years in his garage so remains in excellent cosmetic condition and never saw winter driving. It was last licensed in 2008 and he only put 4,400 miles on it while he owned it, You will not find a cleaner Red Bull conversion car anywhere I would venture.As you can see in the photos it has the Red Bull custom paint job and the rear trunk was replaced with the customized twin wing doors and a cooler .We still have the original mounting hardware for the can but that, and Red Bull logo, had been removed before it was donated. We have not detailed this car so it can be inspected as he left it with nothing to hide. There are no fluid leaks that we know of-floor was clean beneath it.We put a new battery in it last August, and in 09/11 he had new plug wires and plugs installed. We also have the original owners manual and there is Haynes shop manual that goes with it as well. Condition: Engine runs strong and does not smoke but did notice what sounded like a bit of a belt squeal when you really got on it so may need a tightening. No issues with transmission I could find and did not detect any noises when I drove it around the block a couple of times. There is no body rust or damage at all and paint is in excellent condition with just a few minor scratches here and there and a couple of pinhead size paint pops on the hood. Interior is also excellent with no dash cracks or damaged plastic-same for upholstery.Only issue with interior is that the ceiling liner in back is loose. I seem to recall he pulled it down to get at the top can mount bracket and did not get it back in place properly. Tires are in excellent condition and appear to be at around 75% or original tread.Chrome wheels are EX on the right side but the 2 on right have some minor spotty surface pitting going on but should polish out fine. One of the cooler door cables is broken so he rigged a string pull from opposite door to open. These are the only issues I found with it but there could be other minor things I don't know about because I am not at all familiar with this type of car.Come and look it over if you are able . I have truthfully tried to describe it as best I can but car is sold AS IS with no warranty. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime chance to own the ultimate Tailgate party mobile ! Test drives are welcome if you can make it to Springfield Illinois to do so.There is no insurance or plates on it so you can only take it around the block . This item is in probate so payments must be made directly to probate account or cash can be accepted for deposit into it. A $500 dollar deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase and balance is due upon pick up.Money can be transferred electronically directly into the probate bank account .This can be done once you are here but should be done during regular bank hours. I have been advised by that bank not to accept certified checks as payment unless there is a 14 day clearance window before you take possession. You will be issued a clean Illinois title,copy of death certificate, and any other paper work that we find is required. This vehicle can be driven but it is up to you to provide your own insurance and his license plate will be removed upon purchase. You can also arrange transportation by independent carrier if you wish or I may be able to find someone local that can deliver depending on how far you are . Common sense advice about transportation. Though I know of no reason this car could not be driven short distances you must keep in mind that it is 15 years old and has not been driven anywhere but around the block in the last 5 years.I am sure most of the belts and hoses are original so a cross country jaunt might turn into a real adventure . My best advice is that you have any distance to travel,you have it trailered . Vehicle is available locally so we reserve the right to end auction at any time if there is no bid on it yet.
