This truck spent its entire life on a farm until a several years ago when I purchased it for daily use. I decided to upgrade the brakes with a dual master cylinder vacuum assist for easier stopping. One upgrade led to another and I finally had virtually the entire truck dissasembeled. It was then restored, painted, and reassembled. The cab remained on the frame but every thing else was removed for repair, sanding, and painting with acrylic enamel paint.The interior was painted with a factory beige paint. Any rust was removed and replaced with new steel. The engine and transmission were pulled and checked, and had all new gaskets & seals installed along with a new clutch, rebuilt starter and new motor mounts. A complete new wiring harness was installed after paint and the truck was reassembled using all stainless steel fasteners. All glass, window regulators, and seals were replaced with new. The gauges were removed, refurbished and reinstalled. The new oak bed was also installed using stainless fasteners. New headlights and taillights were installed along with turn signals. A partial listing of new parts include: Wiring harness; Healights, tail lights, and turn signals; Bumpers;Grille; Brakes and vacuum assist master cylinder; Door & window seals and gaskets, regulators, and door/window handles; Speedometer & parking brake cables; Bed cross sills, front bed panel, stainless bed strips, tailgate chains and hubcaps, and bed wood. What it needs: The heater is installed but not hooked up or checked out as it was never needed in the south. The tires on the truck have plenty of tread but are old and should be replaced. I decided to reduce the price of the tuck and let the buyer pick their own tires. I am selling due to limited garage space. The truck runs and drives great and is currently titled and tagged in Florida. I have included some of the pictures of the restoration and have all the recipts for parts.
