Vehicle Detail

You've ALWAYS wanted one!! 5speed fun factor is only a bid away at NO RESERVE!! I love these 3 series stick-shifters! No worries from a faulty auto trans. This excellent high mile BMW specimen is ready to go. Recent new front and rear tires. New brakes. Not a noise squeak or rattle. Hop in and go anywhere!! Below is a link to the KBB.com Private Party Value. Good Condition is proper representation of this car. Please use the information and bid accordingly as I assure you, other's will!! http://www.kbb.com/bmw/3-series/2001-bmw-3-series/325i-sedan-4d/?vehicleid=3777&intent=trade-in-sell&mileage=171300&category=sedan&options=144763%7ctrue%7c144867%7ctrue%7c144776%7ctrue%7c144801%7ctrue%7c144884%7ctrue&pricetype=private-party#survey I've personally logged about 300 miles or so on this car. Pure joy to drive. Never for a second do I feel its age or mileage until I physically look down at the cluster. You will feel the same. As I ALWAYS say...there's a reason a high miler car makes it to this stage in it's life. Proper care. This car no different. No wonder how the ultimate driving machine has it's name! Outside a few little spots, the exterior is superb....just like my title line...see what I did there? The exterior is easily an 8.5 out of 10. Front nose has minimal teeny tiny rockchips. Barely any parking block scrapes. Body displays MAYBE a handful of dings...like 3. And see below for the little bubbles of rust. Super straight body. I'm no bodyman, but I don't see any signs of major or minor body repairs. I honestly don't get super excited about low profile tires stretched onto the rims. Can't tell while driving altho a visual inspection will note a few curb rash marks on the edges. Zero vibration at any speeds. Not rough at all. Firm and tight is a proper term. I installed new front lower rear control arm bushings, that always fail, so now the car drives perfectly straight. Doesn't pull or wander or drift. Brakes will throw you thru the dash if needed. No rattles. No squeaks. No noises. No worries. Some of you with a keen eye will note the wiper's position. For whatever reason, when the wiper module malfunctions, it "parks" the arms here. Not sure why since they work perfectly otherwise. There are free do-it-yourself fixes on the internet. I just honestly don't have the time to chase it down. I mentioned the NO RESERVE, right? I bring it up because I disclose EVERYTHING I know about my cars. The rear bumper cover shows most of any of the body flaws on the car. Left rear has a light cracked area. Not pushed in, tho. I'd bet a few minutes underneath pushing from the inside could net excellent results to pop back into place. Right rear corner is a bit nicked up, again, nothing major or worth repairing. Just a blemish. Hood, roof and trunklid look great! Above you can also see a small ding on the corner. Below is a shot of the obvious rust bubble that are typical on BMWs of this era. Factoring in the mileage an it's 12 years on this earth...in the midwest...I think it's super minor. Sorry about the dark pics on the interior. Weather has been gloomy the last few days and I hate using the FLASH on my camera. I promise on my excellent feedbacks (you inspected them, yes?) that the interior is easily a 9 out of 10. I hate smoke and can't see or smell any signs of it. The driver's bolster is the only typical worn area on the seating. The rest really seems to have been unused. This had to have been one of those single driver cars...say a sales rep that drove long distances for his/her job then home. No door dings? Parking lot scrapes? Cheetos under the seat? Animal crackers in the map holders? Nothing! You can see below, ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with only the "Check Engine" light staying on above. I ran the codes and I believe it was 2, but my base reader is vague. Seemed to be to emissions related items...vacuum canister and low O2 reading. Sorry, I can't diagnose further. No need really, since the cars runs perfectly otherwise. I'm not one of those guys to clear lights to hide issues. I just mention it and fix if the car NEEDS it. I DID mention the NO RESERVE?? Everything power seems to be working as it should: steering wheel controls, cruise, power sunroof, locks, mirrors, both 3way HEATED seats are HOT, windows (left rear doesn't work tho), radio, CD Changer hookup is in the trunk, climate control, etc. Unseen is the complete spare setup aired up ready for your trip. Most of the factory toolkit in place. Below you can see the trunklid lip is solid with no rust. Rear seats are flawless. Carpeting is clean enough to eat off of. No holes, rips, tears or damages to the seating or carpeting or headliner. No cracks in the dash or any other area. Above are the nice parts I love to see in a high miler....LOTS of factory original stuff! 2 FULL keyless remote keys included. 1 factory valet key. Full factory manuals inside a mint condition case. Nice. Below you can see the clean engine compartment even tho the pics are dark, I assure you a cleaner look with your own eyes in person. Engine fires right up with the strong battery and runs perfectly. No noises. No major oil or coolant leaks altho there is a typical small oil leak (ie: minimal slow drip) coming from what looks to be the oil return line from the power steering reservoir or the filter housing. I cleaned it but haven't been able to watch it's source. Not leaving spots on my shop floor overnight. Otherwise no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No overheating. Air filter is clean. Not sure of the AC's coldness since the weather is about 30degrees here in the pics. Worst case, a recharge is in order come springtime. Transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding or noises. Clutch engages properly with no chatter or slipping. As stated, the brakes are recently changed. No pulsing or noises there either. This car, like all of my cars, is a true BID, BUY, and DRIVE ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!! I have, you can too! No worries. NO RESERVE! GOOD LUCK!!
