up for sale is a 70 triumph tiger 650 single carb bike ...this bike has been totally redone ...motor was rebuilt from the sludge trap up has only been ridden about 1 mile since the rebuild so it still needs to get some shake down miles on it ..so you need to know in advance that once the bike has been shaken down it will need to gone through and be tightened up but most triumphs are known to need tightening up every so often ...there is a new joe hunt magneto so it's an easy start up one easy kick gets her going ! has a new jrc carb with a k&n air filter ...new ceramic coated high side pipes so they should stay silver in color and run a bit cooler to the touch .gas tank is original to the bike but has been resealed and has a new gas cap ...new bars with 2" risers sit on a new dna springer 4" under stock .21" harley front wheel powder coated black with new avon venom white wall tire..new dna front disc brakes so never will have a problem stopping !new distressed leather solo seat with 2" risers ...elswick cycles oil tank .factory metal works ribbed rear fender with low profile sissy bar ...6" stretch and 2" dropped rear bolt on section from david bird ..16" rear harley wheel powder coated black with new avon venom white wall tire ...new brake pads ..chain tensioner from monstercraftsman with skateboard wheel ...this bike is basically brand new ..it need to be broken in ..it is NOT a show bike ..there are some minor scratches in the paint and such from reassembly ...it starts up perfectly sounds great and from the little its been taken out rides so nice ...it is a matching # 's bike and i do have the old oil tank and most of the rear section that will go with the bike as well ..i do have the title in hand and it's ready to go ..i have never been big into bikes and am now concentrating on finishing up my classic car so i want the bike to go somewhere where it will get used and not just stored away ..the only problem i have seen with the bike since it has been totally together is that when it sits for a long period of time there is a small oil leak in the one exhaust pipe which means that a valve seal might need to be replaced but i say might because it was done brand new and i believe that it will seal up fine after it gets some shake down miles on it ( seems to be what most people i talk to believe as well ) ..all this does is create a little smoke when first started up for about 30 seconds then it is fine and the pipe won't correct oil again until it sits for a period of time ....other than that everything is fine ...this bike is ready to be ridden and stands out in a crowd ....any questions please don't hesitate to email..
