Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a 1973 Plymouth Scamp, all original, with only 68,518 miles. Original paint, carpet, door panels, seats, ect.... I recently purchased this vehicle with the intention of restoring it, however have been afforded the opportunity to purchase a boat slip, as a result the car must go. Car has a straight six motor which starts every time at the turn of the key. I believe it is the same motor that is in the earlier Jeeps, very reliable. Previous owner was local and had just installed all new calipers, rotors, brake pads, brake lines, master cylinder and idler arm. Car is very solid with only minimal rust in the lower rear quarter panels. Trunk and engine compartment solid, rockers solid, vehicle does not appear to have ever been in an accident and is straight with the exception of a small dent in the left front fender and a small dent/scrape on the right rear quarter panel. (See Photo's). This would car would be a solid foundation for a Race Car or with a little TLC a fun daily driver. All lights appear to work, the gas gauge works on and off, the wipers work, the radio does not work but is original. Will need a dash pad cover. I looked online and they are available for $29.99 to $74.99 depending on whether you go with a carpet cover or vinyl. This car runs and drives straight, it is tagged in Delaware until January 31st 2013. I will be available to assist in shipping at the Buyer's cost or you can drive the car home. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION with an opening bid of only $1500.00. As I stated, the car must go and will be sold to the highest bidder. A $500.00 deposit to be made via PayPal within 48 hrs. of auction close, with the balance to be paid in cash or certified check with 7 days of the close of auction. I am available to answer any questions, to the best of my ability. Thanks, Bill 302-276-9005.
