The car runs extremely well. The idle is smooth and there is no smoking,leaking or overheating. The transmission shifts right on time through the gears. The brakes stop the car nicely. The car steers well and handles like a Pinto. Overall mechanically the car is in great shape. She comes equipped with factory air conditioning (needs service to blow cold) which was a rare feature for these cars. -Relatively new set of matching tires -Matching Original hubcaps. Very nice! Cosmetically the car is a gem as far as originality. The body, chassis and frame are 100% solid and rust free.... Superb! The paint is completely original with the exception of the roof which was repainted at some point in a different shade of yellow. The car has never had any rust or repair. The floors are superb. The car has dings, scratches, nicks, chips, fading, small dents, etc. This car is a true survivor . If you wanted to restore on to perfection this would be the one to do it with, or drive as-is.Original front and rear "blue and yellow" license plates verifies it's California heritage since new. A custom trailer hitch mounted to the frame was custom made for this car and is perfctly funcitional. The interior is all original and the pictures depict the actual condition.
