Vehicle Detail
1950 dodge wayfarer business coupe. This is a real solid car. The only rust is in the right rocker behind the door & a couple of blisters below the trunk lid. Floors in body & trunk real nice. Body mounts never rusted. always undercoated. No engine. The interior has been amaturely reupolstered. Headliner old. Nice dash & gauges. Glass good except for passenger side windshield is cracked. Paint is old & starting to have some issues. All trim present. Chrome on bumpers is starting to show its age. Brakes will need to be redone because of sitting & I think the brake line is missing from the rearend. This would be a car that you could have going without too much work. Throw your small block chev in & maybe be running in the spring. Ad says 100,000 miles but assume that is not correct because I don't know. Clear title in my name. I live in Elgin but the car is stored 1/2 hr. west of Mendota, so if you want to look, it would have to be there. Recently on ebay, someone paid over 4 grand for a rusted out but running 50 plymouth business coupe. This is a much better car than that one was but of course this has no engine but this can be bought for less. Personally, I would rather start with a car like this than having to fix rust. My cell-- two24-four02-one4two7.On Jan-06-13 at 10:32:55 PST, seller added the following information: Actually that rocker is rusted behind the left or drivers side, not the right side. On Jan-06-13 at 13:30:31 PST, seller added the following information: There is a fluid drive trans that goes with the car. Also, if you would want this, included would be a complete mid 80's Monte Carlo frame with front & rearend that would be good for a subrame transplant.
