1998 Chevrolet K1500 Cheyenne Pick-up Truck. It is 4 wheel drive. It has the 5.7, 350, V-8 engine. It has the 5 speed manual transmission. You can’t get a full size truck any longer with a manual transmission. So to me this is a rare truck. The exterior color is blue and the interior is blue. All of the gauges work. The truck has 216,000 miles on it but the engine has been rebuilt in the last 500 miles. It was rebuilt locally by Top Speed Performance in Blountville, TN. I bought the truck from a local dealer, Country Auto Sales in Bristol, VA. The truck had 211,000 miles on it when I got it. When I bought the truck all I did to it was put a new Sony CD player in it and a new diamond plate tool box. The tool box does not stay with the truck but can be bought for an additional $250.00. I replaced the following parts when the engine was rebuilt. Clutch, flywheel, temperature sensor, EGR, spark plugs, spark plug wires, water pump, PCV valve, K&N air filter, radiator, radiator hoses, AC accumulator. In the last month I have had the front anti-lock sensors, brake pads, and rotors replaced. The work was done by Bill Gatton Chevrolet in Bristol, TN. Also, in the last month I have replaced the exhaust with dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The work was done by Benny’s Pipe and Muffler in Bristol, TN. I also have replaced the downstream oxygen sensors. I did that myself. The truck’s body has it’s dents, dings, and some rust. The only part of the truck that is rusted out is the rear bumper. You can get one here on eBay for $287 with free shipping. It needs a rear pinion seal and catalytic converters. The check engine light comes on every now and then with the code for the catalytic converter. I just go by AutoZone and get it erased as it doesn’t hurt the trucks performance. I still owe on the truck but it does have a clear title. The truck is like brand new mechanically and will give someone many years of service. I like the truck and would love to keep it but I have too many vehicles and need to part with it. I bought it for a hunting truck but did not even make it in the woods this year. I accept all forms of payment. However, with counterfeit bills and counterfeit certified bank checks and bad personal checks, any form of payment will be verified by my local bank, yes even cash will be verified. Checks (personal or certified) will take a minimum of 5 business days to clear. Unless you are local then we can go to your bank and have it verified in person. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I am not in anyway responsible for any of the shipping charges. I will be glad to help load the vehicle. Once the vehicle leaves my possession I am not responsible for any damages that may occur. The vehicle does not have any warranty expressed, written, or implied. No returns. KBB shows the truck to be valued at $6,100 but my reserve is half of that. I will not sell to overseas buyers. I will not take full payment via PayPal. There are too may scams out there as I have seen by trying to sell on eBay and Craigslist. I had Benny's Pipe and Muffler put it on. I drove it to Abingdon and back home (probably 30 mile round trip) and the check engine light never came back on. I have a receipt to prove the catalytic converter was installed.
