Very Very Solid Body!Original 322 Flathead 8 & 3 Speed Manual Transmission 1940 Lasalle Two Door 52 Special Coupe with the original 322 Flathead 8 and three speed manual transmission. The Lasalle was built by the Cadillac Motor Division and 1940 was the last year manufactured. This is a great example of a very very solid classic that can be driven. The paint is older but shows very good, and again is on a very solid body. The interior is older and in great condition, only showing minimal wear, and very functional as is. The chrome bumpers look like they have been re-chromed and are in excellent condition, and all of the remaining bright work is in original, good condition. In addition, all of the glass and rubber around the glass is in great condition. The previous owner had it for eleven years and made the following mechanical updates: re-cored the radiator, added all new wiring, a new 12/6 battery, rebuilt the carburetor and fuel pump, and added new brakes just two years ago.
