1955 FORD F350 WITH 9 FOOT BED I was told this truck was bought new in 1955 by the Minster Oil Co. in Ohio, In the 1970's MOC was bought out by another local fuel company where the truck than sat for 25 years until purchased at an estate by a man in Ohio. In November of 2011 my cousin purchased this from him and had it moved to my property where it has been sitting since until I got it from him. Truck has the 6cyl 109hp engine Optional 4 speed transmission 514 Rear end 9 foot bed ( According to ford only 5450 built) 130 in wheel base 9500 GVW Did get the truck started last week and the motor sounded good. Needs a new gas tank but has a small tank under the hood to temporally start. Has a new radiator out of a 66 mustang(some scraper stole the orginal). Truck has the typical rust, rot and dents that these trucks aquired over the years but is a solid start to a restore or whatever your plans might be. Passenger window is cracked but all other glass is in good shape. Missing speedometer and odometer. Trucks brakes do not work but rolls freely. Tires hold air but not road worthy.
