THE Vanagon Campers were made from 1980 to 1991. The camping aspects of these models, which remained unchanged for those years, are unsurpassed in their utility and efficiency, in providing satisfying and fun camping trips. The beginning of 1983 was the last year of air cooled engines, and this vehicle is one of the last air-cooled VW Vanagons. This Camper is for someone who is looking for a fun vehicle and wants to experience a Camper for having years of wonderful camping trips. This camper has just a little over 109,000 miles. Because of the low mileage (about 3,500 miles per year over the twenty-six years) and regular maintenance, there are minimal mechanical issues. The Vanagon camping models are becoming increasingly scarce and one in this level of mechanical condition is even harder to find. Make it yours and have a great time camping along the CA coastline. Tires are reasonably new and in great condition with lots of tread and life left. Has a bike rack cradle in the front.
