Zap Xebra Electric Vehicle This is not the same vehicle that has been on ebay motors recently, and yes, they are both pink with stars! If you buy this car you too can enjoy people pointing and smiling at you! You must have a sense of humor to drive a pink car with stars and racing stripes. :) Car is very fun to drive! Runs and Drives Perfectly Daily Driver 3024 Miles Around $2500 in recent parts: New Batteries March 2012 (Approx. $1400) - Great condition, used very little Newer charger w/ charge estimator Newer DC/DC converter Newer Charger for additional 12 VDC auxillary battery (total of two in vehicle) Newer Coleman Inverter wired directly to heater elements Newer tires from Les Schwab w/ warranty Runs and drives well - on cold days has a range of approximately 10 - 12 miles of careful driving without running the batteries too low, should be higher range in the summer If car is charged throughout the day it can be driven many times the range in a single day Top speed of around 40 mph We hoped to use it commuting and for business deliveries, but it just isn't practical for deliveries The title is clear and in my name Titled and registered as a motorcycle - cheaper registration and cheap insurance - currently insured for $75/year Condition: Runs and drives perfectly Paint looks ok, but some fading, chipping, etc. Interior is in nice condition Tires are nearly brand new Car has a clunk in the front end when going over large bumps Car has a clunk in the rear end when accelerating/decelerating (previous owner of multiple Zaps said this is common) Heater needs repair or replacement - costs $99 on xebraparts website Zap Xebras are technically a motorcycle with no airbags, crumple zones, etc. Not for highway use!
