Vehicle Detail
No Reserve auction. 1999 jeep wrangler sport. 4.0 motor, 5 speed manual with air conditioning. I have owned this jeep for 5 years. It has a 2 1/2 inch lift kit, 32" BFG AT tires with Coil over shocks on the front. Both axles have limited slip in them. The soft top is about 3 years old. All 5 tires are new and only have a few thousand miles on them. The front seats are about 3 years old. It has recently had a break job done with all new calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors, drums, shoes and pads. The jeep drives good. when you let go of the wheel it driver straight and does not pull. The jeep shows 152000 miles on it. I have put a replacement motor in it and that motor has about 80,000 miles on it. The transfer case was rebuilt 2 years ago. ( both are long stories). I belive this vehicle to be in pretty good condition but it is a 14 year old jeep. There is no rust on the body but the paint has some scraches in it. Im not sure if you will be able to see them in the photos. If you have any questions you can call me 317-590-5610 KrisOn Jan-04-13 at 04:32:03 PST, seller added the following information: I have been getting a lot of questions. Thanks for the interest in my jeep. Yes, The clutch was replaces at the same time the motor was. That was about 30,000 miles ago. The junk yard motor at that time had about 50,000 miles on it. Both front wheel bearing units were also replaced when the break job was done. That was a couple of weeks ago. The batteries is good and the jeep cranks strong but is is 4 or 5 years old. The transfer case was replace a couple of years ago. I was flat towing the jeep back from a jeep jamboree and the t-case split in 1/2 and spewed parts down the high way. It was not good. LOL I had to buy a remanufactured unit and it was installed by R and R transmissions. The gas guage only works when the tank is below 3/4 of a tank. Above 3/4 it will read empty. When the tank goes down to that point it works again. It is a bad sending unit in the gas tank but I never got around to fixing it. There are no rust holes in the frame. The frame is solid and only has minor surface rust. The jeep has been parked inside most of the time that I have owned it. Thanks again. This is a nice jeep. I am selling because I just purchased a 2012 Rubicon.
