i have for sale a pretty rare vehicle. It is a 1978 amc pacer d/l with only 44,000 miles. It has the 258 6 cyl. engine with an automatic trans. This car has been sitting for 15 years when i purchased it. It has only had two registered owners since new . I have reciept stating that in 1981 an elderly lady traded in her 1976 gremlin and paid 2100 for the pacer and odometer shwoed 39,000 miles then . I believe 44,000 to be the right miles. I have since clenaed the tank, rebuilt carb., replace fuel pump,replaced ignition box ,painted the vehicle but not show quality just driver quality paint job. I had the striping done professionally and added the mag wheels ,it even has pacer center caps. The body is solid only had a small amount of rust at tag area a quarter size hole at quarterpanel and a smaal amount at lower left fender. The floors are solid. The interior is in as found conditon and needs completely redone. It starts and runs great i have driven it locally for the last few weeks. all lights work wipers work ,heater and radio doesnt . it has tilt wheel power brake power steering and disc brakes and also rack and pinion steering . this is a vehicle that gets attention everywhere. and you cant beat it for the price if your looking for a project that can be driven daily for a low price this is your car .
