For sale is my 2004 BMW X5 4.8is with 101,000 miles. This was the Fastest SUV/SAV in the world in 2004, and Alpina tuned engine, that was only done for the 4.8is and the 4.6is models of the. Super clean, very well maintained, problem and headache free. This X5 is a Florida BMW, previously owned by three enthusiasts, and the last was an Air Force pilot. The car is loaded and religiously maintained at the BMW since new. The 4.8is is a much better model than the 4.6is I actually own both (2002 X5 4.6is Estorial Blue). I bought it from Homestead, FL on the outskirts of Miami, FL while I was there for the holidays, garage kept all its life, I drove it back and absolutely love it, but I just have to let it go due hard financial time, and I will be cutting down, I hate to let it go especially when I have been searching for this for a long time and have kept it up to date with maintenance. I am a neat freak; I was on a hunt and search for a super clean and well maintained 4.8is for months till I actually found this one. I made sure that every single common issue was fixed, that it was spotless in terms of the body and trim, and more importantly had to be mechanically superb. The X5 just had over $4000 dollars in recent services, mostly done at South Motors BMW, Pro Works Automotive of Miami, FL and Erhard BMW of West Bloomfield, MI to include the following: 1. The complete air ride suspension system a. Front air ride shock assemblies (life time warranty) b. Air ride compressor c. Air ride control module d. Air ride lines and hoses. 2. Valley Pan plus Valley Pan Gasket 3. Brand new factory navigation screen. 4. Brand new rear tires (matching set of Michelin) 5. Brand new front control arm bushings 6. Brand new transmission solenoids 7. Transmission Pan Gasket and Filter. 8. Brand new drivers door handle carrier/actuator assembly. 9. Complete front and rear brake pad and rotors along with both brake pads wear sensors. 10. Brand new alternator. 11. Brand new starter. 12. Brand new expansion tank. 13. Brand new power steering hoses. 14. Brand new spark plugs. 15. Brand new coils. 16. CV boots. 17. Vacuum Pump. 18. Taillight socket assemblies and bulbs. 19. Panoramic Sunroof track assembly. 20. Factory Cluster no dead pixels. 21. Oil change, fluid flush for transmission and transfer case. 22. Brand new PVC valves ( Diaphragms, Springs and Caps) 23. New alignment and tire balance. 24. Brand new factory floor mats, with floor mounting hardware, rear cargo shade and rubber mat. The X5 is all stock. It has the 355hp, and is loaded to the max. it has the power windows, power locks, power folding mirrors, factory comfort seats, power front seats, power rear seats, factory navigation, factory panoramic roof, heated front and rear seats, winter package, rear cargo shade, factory floor mats, 2 sets of keys, all manuals and books, 6 CD changer, factory sirus radio, factory Bluetooth, Rear window shades. factory angel light headlights, Parking distance control (PDC), Bi-Xenon Headlights, factory AUX input, tire pressure monitoring system, power rear seats, auto dimming rear view mirror, power folding and heated side mirrors, factory towing package, 20” Factory wheels with brand new rear tires and about 60% front tires, with little to no curb rash. I don’t think it missing any options, other than the running boards. I have owned multiple BMW’s, I am very meticulous of what I buy and what I would ride, and I wouldn’t describe something unless it is what I state it is. The car does not have a single scratch or malfunction, the only thing it will need in the future is 2 front tires, you can hear a little humming only if you pay very close attention. The X5 has never towed anything; the hitch is a rare feature that E53 enthusiasts look for after all services. You will not find a cleaner X5 for the price with all services done especially the headache from the air ride suspension. I hate to sell it and let it go. If you are truly looking for a headache free well maintained, and all common issues addressed for an X5 4.8is, then this is the one. With the purchase you will get a brand new factory set of all season floor mats, the books and all keys along with the rear cargo shade that most owners take before they sell them or trade them in. Clay bared, waxed and hand washed. The carpet has no stains; the leather looks flawless with no signs of wear and tear, no leaks, no loose trim, no nicks in the glass. Every single common issue you can think of has been addressed and taken care of. You will not be sorry with this purchase and you will get complements anywhere you go. No noises, no vibrations the car drives smooth. I have taken real good care of it. Consider the fact that this 4.8is has NEVER seen snow, NEVER been in an accident, Never smoked in, and the religious services that were done (over $4000), when your shopping around, make sure that all the common issues have been addressed as you might end up paying a hefty maintenance bill. Do your shopping and research if you are not familiar with the 4.8is. The X5 is sold as is where is, and all pre inspections must be done prior to purchase. I’m not going to waste your time so please don’t waste mine, I will back up what I have and I’m confident of everything stated.
