Vehicle Detail

1952 Chevy 3100 Pickup5-Window CabHot Rod, Rat Rod You are looking at our 1952 Chevy 3100 Pickup. This body style was made from 1947-1953 and is one of the most popular classic vehicles on the market today. Alot can be done with these trucks to make them a unique hot rod or rat rod. This particular truck has been upgraded to a 400 Small Black V8 engine and 350 Turbo transmission. The engine runs very strong and starts with ease. Transmission shifts smooth. This truck has alot of power! It maintains it stock suspension and brakes. We have installed a new brake master cylinder and a couple wheels cylinders. The truck stops very well for having the stock set up. You can easily convert to disk brakes. Kits are available online at very reasonable prices. All the glass is present but one triangle window does have a crack. We will include a replacement glass to be installed. We also have a box of door seals, cab window seals etc which will be included in the auction. Body is straight and in very good condition. Can corners are solid. We have pulled back the carpet and floor boards look good. This vehicle was taken in on trade from an older woman who has owned and driven this truck since 1983. She had it painted about 10 years ago. The paint is in fair condition for its age. The maint looks "splotchy" in some of the photos but it is not. There are a couple places where the paint will have to be spotted in, specifically on the tailgate and rear fender. We polished a small area on the hood to see how the paint will shine with a little elbow grease. It shines up well. There is a diamond plate bed and a custom made bed cover. The truck has 4:11 gears according to the original owner. This truck also features and aftermarket flip-up sun roof, aftermarket gauges ( stock gauges are not hooked up). Fuel guage is sporatic. This is a running driving truck and is a blast to run around town in. This will make a great weekend cruiser or candidate for full restoration. Its not a "trailer queen" by any means but presents well and gets ALOT of attention. There are a couple areas that will need to be addressed by the next owner. The steering box should be adjusted to remove slack in the wheel. We recomend installing a large steering wheel as the one on it now is quite small. There is a transmission cooler mounted to the radiator with rubber lines, one of which has a small leak where it meats the metal line from the transmission. Oil pan gasket may need replaced (light seepage). Again, this is not a $50,000 show truck but a great driver-quality Hot Rod. Please feel free to message us with any questions and we will do our best to answer what we can. This vehicle is offered for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction early and without warning. Auction price does not include dealership $99 Processing fee and any State or Local taxes. Buyer should satisfy theirsleves prior to bidding. Payment due with in 7 Days. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction ending. Vehicle sold AS IS- WHERE IS. VADLR #36821
