Vehicle Detail

Up for bids is this very nice Roadmaster wagon. 49,130 original miles, the car is in excellent shape throughout. This wagon was ordered "woodgrain delete", which in my opinion results in a much cleaner look for these Roadmasters. The car is loaded with all the options including leather seating, Concert Sound II, and tow package. The car's body and paint are in great shape, showing only minor dings and small scratches, overall it's a very clean example. The car's biggest flaws are a little ding on the front left bumper and an inexplicable area of paint fade on the driver's side mirror, see photos. There are no rust issues or bubbling of the paint anywhere on the car. Tires have good tread. All of the glass in in great shape. The car was ordered with the leather option, the seats show hardly any wear. Carpet, door panels, headliner - all in very nice condition. The car has never been smoked and has no bad odors. All of the car's power options work correctly: windows, seat, cruise, radio, antenna, climate control, etc. The AC system was serviced and charged last summer and works great. The car's sound system is terrific, with great fidelity. There are NO check engine lights or display warnings of any kind. Service is up to date, the car runs excellent and has no issues. This wagon is capable of hauling 8 passengers in comfort, and is the last GM wagon that had the cargo capacity to load 4x8 sheets of plywood. This was the end of the line for true RWD wagons in America, they are the last of the breed. The car is really super on the road, extremely comfortable, quiet and smooth. The LT-1 motor provides an incredible amount of power, it will really surprise you. Putting your foot down in the passing lane will push you back in your seat. I'm more of a light footed driver, and this wagon's mpg has shown high teens in the city and up to the mid 20s on the freeway, pretty impressive for a wagon this size. Auction terms: I'd like a $500 deposit within 2 days of auction end, and full payment within 7 days. Please only bid if you are ready to pay for this wagon, and have the necessary funds in place - let's not waste either one's time. The car has a clear title and comes with all of the original owner's manuals and brochures. I can help arrange for shipping anywhere in the US. Please email me with questions, I'll be happy to answer any you may have or have a phone conversation if you prefer. Please don't ask for the reserve, just bid what you'd want to pay. The wagon is priced in line with what the other really good ones have been selling for on ebay, maybe even a little less. I'm sure whoever gets this wagon will have many miles of enjoyment with it.
