The time has come to grow-up and sell my Turbo Supra. I no longer have the desire to work on or maintain it... and the car cetainly deserves a better home. It currently needs some TLC but I have had no real issues driving every day for the first 3/4's of this year. I now have my first brand new car and need the space. Noteworthy issues include a suspected wonky TPS, a worn out blow-off valve (leaks above 4PSI of boost), no A/C (might need only charging, might need more), broken speedo cable, cracking hood scoop & front edge of front spoiler. Tires range from brand new to recently new, but are very soft and do not last long with spirited driving...but do they ever stick! This car handles like it's on rails and once dyno'd 415RWHP when the VPC/GCC were still installed. The VPC/GCC and many other performance/custom parts that will be included in this auction (ex. replacement hood scoop, 1J intercooler, customized 3-pc rear wing, aluminum radiator, alternate fiberglass side skirts, a stock and upgraded turbo)(see pic) . I would not recommend this car for someone who is not familiar with the inner-workings of cars or does not like to work on cars. When a vehicle is this far from stock, the required maintenance goes up dramatically. I used to find it fun and challenging...but now, I find it an inconvenience. Guess that is one definition of getting old. I did all of the mod's myself (suspension, engine building, airbrushing/painting, etc), so clearly, I have a lot of time, money, and sweat equity invested in this car. That being said, I am hoping to find a buyer who loves it as much as I once did and is willing to take good care of it. Unfortunately, I am at a point where I'll sell it to anyone with $$$.
