I have owned several over the past 10 years: '94 & '95 325i's; '98 528i, '96 M3, '88 & '89 325i's. Over the years I have treated this car with the love and respect it deserves- and it has been my most rewarding car to date! It's amazing that this car still gets between 25-30mpg- depending on your drive cycle and habits of course! This car has NEVER been tracked- although it is a perfect candidate for it as it has almost everything you'd need to make it worthy! Enthusiast owned and loved. Various other components have been replaced as necessary including: bulbs, window switches, thermostat, etc. This car has always been filled with Mobil 1 15W-40, changed every 7,500 miles. I use B12 Chemtool as a fuel injector cleaner per every oil change. This rare car is in beautiful shape for its age, it still turns heads! You must see this car in person to appreciate its condition! But as with anything of this age and miles it is not without some imperfections... Scratches, dents, and chips can be found, but you'll still be impressed by it's overall presence. So now onto what it needs: New foglight- will be repaired prior to sale Switch to operate Sunroof- will be repaired prior to sale Passenger Seat doesn't fold forward for easier rear seat access- all power functions work, just no "ingress mode" Radio volume pot is going out, display rarely displays anymore- found a place in CA that will reman. for cheap Cracked cover for ASC switch Headliner finally giving out and starting to fall -We can discuss repairing these items prior to sale or I will refer you to my friend and BMW specialist who I've used for the past 15years- He's AMAZING and CHEAP!! He's worked on every car I've ever owned and will be the best place to service ANY of your cars- no matter what make! AA AutoCenter Arlington, TX- check them out! I want to be as thorough as possible in describing the cosmetic condition so here goes: The drivers seat has a small tear in the bottom cushion and a broken seam along the lumbar portion. The leather is breaking away from the seam around the lower pocket of the drivers door. The glovebox door is beginning to separate- I am going to repair prior to sale The wood trim around part of the enter console unfortunately broke- it caught on my bag one day as I was dragging it out of the passenger floorwell and snapped :-( The wheels are in good shape but not perfect, the pictures indicate any visible wear. There is one ding behind the fuel door- as noted in picture. There are a few *small* dings in drivers door but i don't think they are even visible by the camera. There are a few small dings in the hood behind the emblem- i think one is visible in picture. There is a small gouge in the front bumper below the impact strip on the drivers side- as indicated in picture- highway collision with garbage from a pickup in front of me :-( The smoked chrome grill has a few wear spots. The headliner recently began falling- I have it supported with pins for now, I was looking for someone inexpensive to repair but never found someone reasonable. These minor cosmetic flaws are the only things which keep this car from being perfect- and frankly they're not that bad. I just wanted to be as thorough as possible, I hope you appreciate that :-) Considering the age I think you'll be hard pressed to find another in better condition- especially since there aren't many out there, or you'll end up paying twice as much to get one from a collector. I don't expect to recover the thousands I've spent on upgrades and maintenance, that's a given, but I do feel it adds to the car's value when compared to similar models. I worked for Autobahn BMW in Fort Worth, TX for a couple years and will continue to be a CCA member and loyal owner for life. Please feel free to ask any questions you like, I'll be happy to help in any way I can. Thank you!!
