Vehicle Detail
1974 Dodge Charger base hardtop. Super nice car in show condition. Runs, drives and rides good. Everything on the car has been addressed and either Replaced or restored. Factory it was a 318 AT bench seat column shift car with B1 paint. Now it is a 440 floor shift bucket seat B5 paint road terror. I bought the car from Alabama and it still had its California title (still have just voided out). I done the complete restoration in a 2 year time frame. The car was and is SUPER SOLID car with no rust anywhere. It was stripped to metal and shot with 1971 B5 blue base coat clear coat. Factory vinyl top was left behind as with the flat hood. Bumpers was rechromed, Gull wing added, new taillight, parking light lenses, grille was repainted to a factory look, new windshield, new fender trim, New fiberglass bulge hood, new 15" Crager SS wheels and BFG tires. Interior was completely revamped with a new dash pad, restored rallye dash with a 150 speedo, new carpet, new front and rear seat covers in white, new headliner, new rear window tray, new hard plastic all the way around moulded in white, new door and quarter window panels. No work needed done in the trunk, just painted to match and a new trunk liner. K frame was sand blasted and painted with new poly mounts and bushings. Under the hood was stripped to metal and painted. New brakes all the way around ( drum rear, disc front). 8 3/4 posi rearend with all new bearings and seals, green bearings, 3:91 ratio. New gas tank and sender. 727 AT trans completely gone through with a mild shift kit and 2800 RPM stall. Engine is a steel crank 1968 casting that was bored .030 Kieth Black pistons, Crane cam thats copies the factory 440+6 specs. Indy cylendar head 452 heads. Edelbrock intake and carb (800 CFM), new hedman ceramic coated headers, 2 1/2 exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and shotgun tips. new aluminum radiator. New power steering box, new wiper motor, new high torque mini starter. Lots more that i know im forgetting. I am selling the car because I have more fun building that driving and I need to fund the current project. Known problems with the car are small leak at the transmission filler tube, radio and AC wa s not hooked up to work, Heater fan only has one speed which is high. Alot of time and money has been put into this car and I will not give it away. Bidders are welcome to call or come look at the car in person. Casey 812-325-5969. High bidder pays a non returnable $200 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. The remaining payment will be due in cash on pickup. High bidder is responsible for picking up and or shipment of the car. I can help load if needed. Clear Indiana title ready to go. Pics of the restoration and California title (voided) go with the car, Awesome car gents so bid like you want it.
