1959 Porsche 356 Convertible D This rare convertible D one year only production for the last year of the A model cars being manufactured is sure to someday catch onto the predecessor speedsters values. This car has been a long time southern California owners pride and has a nice body and gaps all the way around. The bright work still remains fresh and the leather interior is very nice. We recently drove the Pacific Coast Highway with the car on an afternoon and it seems reliable with a smooth shifting transmission nice steering and nice 356 engine sound from the exhaust system. For a 15 year old restoration with service along the time the car has held up very well and maintains a tidy overall appearance. Great car to consider rather than a cabriolet or roadster with the last of the classic Porsche look having the dropped headlamp in the front fender along with being the last A production cars with a removable chrome windshield frame.
