REASONABLE STARTING BID WITH NO RESERVEI bought this 1967Jepster over 20 years ago at a local car auction in Summerville, SC.I bought it to restore. I did drive this Jeepster locally and to Folly Beach, a few times, in the late 1980's when my 2 daughters were very young.The original V6 ran good, the 3 spd transmission shifted fine and did not jump out of any gear . I never used the 4 wheel drive or took this vehicle off roading. This Jeep ran & drove very good, but that was over 20 years ago. It is 100% complete & original.Brakes and steering functioned properly. The manual convertible top was easy to put down & up without issues.When I had played with the Jeepster for a while, I parked it in my warehouse at my towing service in Charleston, SC, with the idea I would restore it in a few years. From there it was driven to another warehouse I have on James Island and parked in there until it was brought out today, Monday, Dec 17th. It was transported from James Island to the storage yard at my towing service where George took the photos I am posting on this listing.Sold as is and the photos are exactly as the Jeepster really is.High bidder must send a $500 deposit with Paypal within 24 hours and the balance of the sale price must be received by me within 3 days of end of listing, in the form of a bank cashier's check, sent by US Post express mail, 2 day delivery and signature required on delivery. MY PH: 843 696-4400 12-18-12 ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS:1-Brakes work2-Hand brake handle is in glove box3-engine runs4-no rust holes in floors, front or rear factory drain holes intact with no rust5-I do not believe the rear of this Jeepster is hinged or opens due to being a convertible model6-All 4 original hubcaps are inside the car7-If the vehicle is paid for according to the payment stipulations specified in the listing, the Jeepster can sit here for a while at no charge.Pete is removing the gas tank, he will clean it out, put it back in with fresh gas and installing a new battery. This Jeepster should be running & driving after that.
