Vehicle Detail

Here we have a 70's style Triumph chopper project. The bike is pretty much complete, it's just disassembled. My friend bought this chopper about 7 years ago, had a grand vision of what he wanted to do to it, took it all apart, and then lost interest. I bought a bunch of stuff from him, but I just don't have the time for everything, so this has to go. The bike was painted in a pretty cool blue and white southwest indian motif. The motor is stamped TR6R and DU46231, which I think is a 1967 650cc engine, but I'm not positive. Included are the motor, hardtail frame that has the springs on the rear axle (Amen Savior type), and an approx. 15 inch over girder front end with front wheel and tire. Also included are the 2 exhaust pipes, rear fender, chrome hexagonal oil tank, 2 mikuni carbs, cool 70's triangular headlight, coffin style tank, handlebars and risers, solo seat, drive chain, double coil setup, taillight / license plate combo, rear rim, rear sprocket, battery tray, footpegs, brake pedal, shifter, and brackets (bike had forward type controls), throttle cables, clutch cable and lever, some wiring, and some assorted bolts, nuts, and brackets. The only parts that I can see missing are the rear tire, front brake lever, and the air cleaners. The frame is in good shape with just some surface rust where my friend stripped off some of the paint. The girder is complete and in really nice shape for it's age. One of the pike nuts is missing but there is a regular nut in it's place, and there is some rust on the crossbars. but the legs are in great shape with no pitting around the tire! As far as the motor goes, my friend had it running when he bought it, but it has been sitting since. I'm sure it needs at least a tune up, and oil change. Still, anyone who knows how much 70's chopper parts and vintage Triumph parts go for these days will realize this is a deal! For my opening bid , you could have yourself a complete motorcycle. All you need are a few parts and the time to reassemble it and you'll have a one-of-a-kind true old school chopper! This bike is sold "AS IS", but it does have a clean reconstructed PA title (1972) that goes with the frame. Obviously I'm not going to ship this item, so you can pick it up at my place, or in getting with the holiday season, I WILL DELIVER THIS WHOLE BIKE TO ANYONE WITHIN 25 MILES OF ME FOR FREE!!!!! Just keep in mind that we need to go to a notary to transfer the title. I'm no Triumph chopper expert, but I will gladly try to answer any questions you might have. Happy bidding and good luck!
