Vehicle Detail
First off let me say that I am truly disappointed that I have to sell this truck. 1 of only 18,908 trucks made that were 3/4 ton. Try and find another one! This is a RARE truck. I bought this truck recently to preserve and restore from a very nice man that had it inside of his barn for the last 15 years. It is a 3/4 ton AL series truck. These trucks have a longer wheelbase, longer bed, and bigger brakes than the regular 1/2 ton trucks. Basically everything else is the same to my knowledge. It has the original motor and it even matches the title (there were no vin's in 1941 so they used the engine number stamped on the block) I would consider this truck to be a semi survivor truck that was restored back in the 70's. As you can see it is in fantastic shape to be almost 72 years old. The motor does NOT run but I do have all the parts that were removed (carb, intake, radiator, etc). I also have all the door trim and hood trim that was taken off this truck. Super solid truck that would be an easy restoration. None of the glass is busted and the windows roll up and down. There is no wood in the bed of this truck and its missing the front and rear bumpers. Those are the only things I know of that are missing. I had big plans for this truck and started working on getting it running but my roof started leaking and I have to fix it before we get some major snow. Clean Tennessee title in my name. This is the most solid pre-war truck you can find for the money. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more pictures of the truck. On Dec-17-12 at 09:35:09 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked to take a few more interior pictures, a bed picture, and pictures of the worst parts of the truck so I have done so. Also, I was informed by an ebayer that the bed is actually off of a 1947 truck. I did a little research and found out that the beds are actually the same other than the fenders and tailgate (both are available from aftermarket suppliers if you wanted to go back to 41 style). If you have any other questions or would like more pictures please call or text 615-995-4759. Again, I cannot trade for anything because all this money is going towards my leaking roof. Special thanks to snoopydog5050 for letting me know that the rear fenders were different.
