1989 MERCEDES-BENZ 420SEL... CLEAN & CLEAR CARFAX... PERFECT MECHANICALLY...GORGEOUS INTERIOR...V8 GAS ENGINE... I am listing this beautiful MB 420SEL for a friend of mine, and he asked me to sell this for him at absolutely NO RESERVE. Whatever it does on here, it's sold. There are no extra hidden costs, or extra fees of any kind. What you bid is what you will pay !! Let me tell you what I know about this beautiful classic. It's white with a gorgeous leather interior. The interior is near perfect with the exception of a small split in the bottom of the drivers seat. The paint is shiny and nice, and the original wheels still look great. No visible dents or serious scratches. I drove it to shoot the photos and it started right up and runs perfectly. The AC is ice cold, and the heat works great. The engine purrs and the transmission shifts absolutely on point. It's NJ inspected till 7/2013 !! Absolutely NO check engine/service dash lights on, of any kind. No service issues. All the glass, all the way around is flawless. All the doors & truck open/close with ease. Goes down the road straight and true. I checked all the power options and everything works to perfection, including the sunroof, which glides as though it were brand new. I couldn't get the radio to come on, so I am going to sell it as the radio needs repair, but it is the original factory radio that came with this car, when it was new. The chrome in the bumpers should be replaced as there are a few holes, but other than those two very minor things, you'll see from the photos, it's very solid and nice. The radio you could send out to repair or replace cheaply, and I'm sure the chrome in the bumpers can also be replaced inexpensively, and once that's done, you have a real star on your hands, for next to nothing !! I have a copy of the CARFAX and it shows nothing but many many service records including oil changes and maintenance records. It shows as ONE OWNER, always in the state of NJ, but I find that hard to believe, but that's what the report says !! The car can be seen in South Jersey any day of the week, and can be test driven at any time !!!
