Vehicle Detail
This truck is a great truck to have, and i was told by previous owner it only has 55,000 on the rebuilt engine. The odometer says around 86, but it was never reset so im going to assume it was rebuilt at 186,000. It has a edelbrock 1407 carb on it, has 35inch all terrain tires, a 4 inch lift, a 350 motor, 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive work great. it has a confederate flag on the ceiling of it, a dixie horn installed, its the long bed edition, also this a Bonanza edition, these are RARE to find goodluck finding another one. i took it offroading very few times, and this thing goes, i just power washed the underneath and cover up electrical while doing so yes, i got a punch of grease off, this isnt necassarly a show truckm but for the year 1980 its nice. The only bad thing i can really think of is windshield wipers need new ones, it gets for some reason 5 miles to the gallon i think its because the guy before me lost some linkage to the choke so he had the choke held open with a paper clip and i havent drove it since then because im broke and i dont have money to go get gasm no cd player, no ac or heat, but air does blow, the seat sags a little, and the hood is a little bent, oh and it makes wide turns, but with 35s what can you expect. It also has brand new speakers in it, i have the original radio if you want it, it has a gun rack in it, and it also has camo flooringm but it cuts off a little on the passenger side, brand new locks on the doors also, freshly cleaned carb. If you have any questions feel free to ask, On Dec-17-12 at 23:33:06 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to add, it has around 70% tread on the tires left, all terrain they are pretty good. the tires do rub a little and it makes this squeak noise. Most of the gauges work, the speedometer works but its off fore some reason, im guessing its when the guy rebuilt the motor that happened, i was told its 55,000 area for rebuilt. I took it out mudding, it didnt get stuck, it has locking hubs on it which is great also. For the gas, you kinda have to hold it at an angle so it doesnt drip out, it has two tanks, i just use the right side one because the guy before me told me that it automatically switches over and you dont have to flip the swtich for it to work, which is true. Im sure that youll want to tune it differently on the carb the two screws for me it runs high but i just like it because it roars, pretty clean air filter it has on it. I cant think of much else really, oh the bed has surface rust but thats all any of the little bit of rust on it is surface rust, there a dent on the front left side as you can see, and a few other LITTLE ones you can only see it certain light, but this thing is great. i hate to get rid of it but i plan on moving back to Indiana and cant take it, it would be about 10000 times better out there though. It has a Cobra 29 ltd sound tracker cb radio in it, it has the antenna on the top, my uncle told me i should just take 1000 dollars to put it to it and it would go for much more but i dont have 1000 dollars. And its true, this is a great body on the truck, small amout of surface rust, little dents, just little things, i love driving it though, its great. Any other questions feel free to ask, i hope these answered them for yall.
