You are looking at a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Indy Pace Car
powered by a 4.9L Turbocharged V8 that shows 26k miles on the odometer. This totally original collector car is a survivor, not a restoration. It's authenticity is fully documented with an original window sticker and build sheet. It presents itself beautifully as a well maintained, well preserved,

Detailed description:
This is an un-restored, 32 year old car that has been driven around 26K
miles according to the odometer. So, it will have normal wear and tear for a 32 year old car. Let's start with the exterior. From what we can see, the car is entirely rust free. The paint is in extremely good condition and the decals all look to be original & in great condition. The "Screaming Eagle" on the hood is showing some fading but nothing that requires immediate attention.
The paint on the flexible front bumper has some stress cracks around
the headlight indentions, which is normal on these cars since the flexible
bumpers were fairly new technology in 1980. All the trim looks original and is in excellent shape. The wheels are in excellent condition and are original. The tires have been updated to modern Good Year Eagles with over 50% of their tread remaining. The T-Tops are the originals
with the original silver reflective finish. The T-Top "storage bags" are in the trunk.
The interior is also all original and has no tears, rips or holes. All the power accessories work great including the A/C and heat.
The original radio still works and the power antenna still powers up and
down. Under the hood, the car is once again original. The 4.9L engine pulls
strong and idles smoothly. The turbo 350 trans shifts smooth and strong. The previous owner of this Trans Am has left trophies in the truck from previous car shows the car has been entered in. Over all, the car drives superbly and should bring the next owner many years of great enjoyment whether it's used to show or to drive.
I have personally driven this Trans Am around 200 miles and it is an absolute blast to drive. I have never gotten so many thumbs up while driving a vehicle around town. This is a great all around Trans Am for anybody looking for a great unrestored survivor or someone looking for a great car to restore. We have all of the original paperwork that came with the car including the original window sticker and build sheet. This Trans Am also comes with a 3 month/3000mile powertrain warranty.
